Good Morning Dear Readers
Yes, it's still cloudy, gray, and cold in Seattle. Last night we took a walk on Broadway and tried to lean a few dance steps. The gay men in tight jeans were out in force, smoking cigarettes. We ate at the Annapurna Cafe. Today, we should be heading away from the city and up to the Peninsula. More later.

Seattle
We made it to Seattle. It's raining. We are staying in a floating house on Lake Union.
Yesterday, we met the Beatles. They were in a Yellow Submarine surrounded by very tall Apple Bonkers. All you need is love.

Driving
I'm back from Montana. I'm back from southern Utah. I've driven 1,800 miles since last Friday, checking cameras from here to there. The west is a beautiful place in early summer. Everything is green. I've seen pronghorn, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, gopher snakes, beautiful mountains, and natural hot springs. Tomorrow we head for Washington to do more camera work. I will finally get to see the Olympic Peninsula for the first time, maybe even the San Juan Islands. Fill'er up.

I've been riding and doing some bicycle repair, just not posting very much. I explored some new terrain on Monday up Left Hand Fork: the Pig Hole, the Sow Hole, and the Bore Hole. Don't do the Bore Hole, there is no trail there (we bushwhacked).
On Tuesday I rode the Deer Fence and ran over a dead deer hidden in the grass on a high section of single track near Blacksmith Fork. A rib bone went through the sidewall of my tire and tube, but I booted it and made it home.
Today (tonight) I head for Montana. See ya' in the funny papers.

Pic of the Day
I'm analyzing pictures today. This is a pretty good picture. I will get out of this chair soon and go for a ride up the canyon some where.
