Yesterday's Ride



Yellow aspen leaves
Margins frosted, crystalline
Frozen to the trail

At elevation
Utah looks like Montana
Doug fir and nine-bark

Freeze thaw mud and clay
Can not ride and can not walk
Should have turned around
